The Annual AAMA Symposium will be held April 23-26, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center in Denver, CO. The theme of the meeting is TBD.
The program will focus on a diverse array of topics that are of interest to health care professionals engaged in, or interested in, incorporating medical acupuncture in their practice. The program includes three days of morning plenary presentations, and afternoons feature concurrent workshops on relevant topics.
A number of popular annual events will return for the meeting. These include the Founders Lecture, Poster Presentation session and plenty of opportunities for networking with colleagues and exhibit companies.
The American Academy of Medical Acupuncture is designing the 2026 Symposium to meet an expressed need to explore the mechanisms of acupuncture from several different perspectives and to examine current scientific research in the field of medical acupuncture. It will address topics suggested by practitioners and stress a variety of approaches to practical clinical problems. Surveys and evaluations from previous symposia indicate there is a desire for more information about acupuncture techniques that honor the rich history of Asian medicine as applied to the contemporary, Western medical practice.
Who Should Attend?
The Symposium is designed for instruction and training of health care professionals interested in, or already practicing, medical acupuncture. Medical practitioners with no experience as well as those with extensive backgrounds in acupuncture will find the program useful to their medical practices.

Science, éthique, pratique clinique – La médecine intégrative en transition

Pour célébrer son 75e anniversaire, l’Association allemande de médecine d’acupuncture (DÄGfA) vous invite à un congrès scientifique anniversaire qui explore les liens entre le passé, le présent et l’avenir de la médecine intégrative.
Le congrès sera marqué par trois conférences plénières exceptionnelles :
Le Professeur Giovanni Maio ouvrira le congrès par une analyse éthique de la nécessité de la médecine intégrative dans un système de santé durable.
Le Professeur Niko Kohl abordera le thème de la pleine conscience et de l’autorégulation dans le domaine en constante évolution de la médecine intégrative.
Le Docteur Miriam Ventocilla se concentrera sur les concepts cliniques actuels et présentera la théorie polyvagale comme cadre de référence pour la médecine intégrative moderne.
Des formats dialogiques et participatifs viendront compléter les conférences plénières et aboutir à une réflexion sur l’avenir de l’acupuncture médicale. Ce congrès anniversaire a pour ambition de promouvoir une médecine scientifiquement rigoureuse, éthiquement responsable et cliniquement efficace.

The SAR conference originally planned for Macau, China in 2026 has been postponed to a future date due to the changing and evolving global political environment; however, we are exploring ways to connect with our global community via virtual format.
Coming up in 2026 : SAR will co-sponsor the Annual Jaseng Academic Conference August 28-29, 2026, at Indiana University. This conference will focus on musculoskeletal pain and will be attended by clinicians and researchers from surgery to acupuncture.
Our next in-person conference will be held in the Washington, DC metro area in spring 2027 (exact dates and venue to be announced). We look forward to sharing more details as soon as they are confirmed and to gathering with you for rich scientific exchange and collaboration.
